Description

User management

Enables Site Administrators to Add/Update/Remove user accounts.

Manage files and directories

Enables Site Administrators to:

  • Create/Rename/Remove directories and files
  • Copy and move files and directories
  • Change file and directory permissions
  • View file and directory properties

Protect directories

Enables Site Administrators to protect directories:

  • Using the Microsoft FrontPage Extensions interface. Site Administrators can connect to the FrontPage and manage files and directories.
  • Using the Site Administrator control panel. If Microsoft FrontPage Extensions is not enabled, they can password-protect directories using the Site Administrator control panel.

Microsoft .NET version

Enables Site Administrators to switch Microsoft .NET version to 2.0 in order to run .NET 2.0 applications.

Note: In order for the Site Administrator to be able to switch to Microsoft .NET version 2.0, the Server Administrator must enable the option switch asp.net version for site admins

MySQL

Enables Site Administrators to:

  • Create multiple MySQL databases
  • View/Update/Delete databases
  • Rename databases
  • Change the MySQL password
  • Manage databases by connecting to a database tool interface such as phpMyAdmin from the Site Administrator control panel

Microsoft SQL Server 2005

Enables Site Administrators to:

  • Create multiple Microsoft SQL Server 2005 databases
  • View/Update/Delete databases
  • Rename databases
  • Change the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 password
  • Manage databases by connecting to a database tool interface such as Web Data Administrator from the Site Administrator control panel

Power Tools

Enables Site Administrators to:

  • Install tools on the site
  • Update tool settings
  • Upgrade installed tools
  • Change the owner of an installed tool
  • Remove installations of tools

Service management

Enables Site Administrators to configure the settings of the following services:

  • MySQL
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005

Note: Site Administrator can create and manage Microsoft SQL Server 2005 databases only if the Server Administrator has purchased the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 add-on license and has enabled the option enable database management for the site in the Server Administrator control panel.

SSL

Enables Site Administrators to secure sites using SSL certificates.

Subdomains

Enables Site Administrators to Add/Update/Delete subdomains.

Log management

Enables Site Administrators to configure rotation settings for logs of the site.

Aliases

Enables Site Administrators to Add/Update/Remove aliases.

Responders

Enables Site Administrators to Add/Update/Remove responders.

Message forwarding

Enables Site Administrators to redirect or forward email messages to alternate addresses.

Spam management

Enables Site Administrators to manage spam by creating a Sendmail Reject List

Web-based email

Enables Site Administrators to manage email messages by connecting to a Web-based interface from the Site Administrator control panel.

IDN (Internationalized Domain Name)

Enables representation of domain names and email addresses using non-ASCII characters.

Autologin

Enables Site Administrators to automatically log in to the User Administrator control panel to perform administrative tasks.

Create and manage skins

Enables Site Administrators to Add/Remove/Apply/Update/Change skins as well as preview a skin and set a skin as the default skin for the Parallels Pro Control Panel control panel.

Retrieve user password

Enables Site Administrators to retrieve their forgotten passwords while logging into the Parallels Pro Control Panel control panel. To be able to retrieve the password, the Site Administrator must set password security information the first time while logging into the Parallels Pro Control Panel control panel. By providing the correct password security information, the Site Administrator is then able to retrieve the lost password.

Export/Import

Enables Site Administrators to:

  • Export/Import the user data with the following settings:
  • Config Only. This option is for exporting or importing only the configuration settings (and not the associated data) of the user.
    • Config and Data. This option is for exporting or importing the configuration settings and all the service-specific data of the user.

Log file archiving

Enables Site Administrators to configure log file archiving using the following options:

enable log file archiving. This option is to enable either archiving or deletion of log files from the Site Administrator's Web server.

maximum number of archives. This is the maximum number of archives available per each archive schedule.

archive when the log file size [mb] reaches. This is the log file size limit which qualifies a log file for an archive.
