WEBppliance interface conventions
The WEBppliance interface has a System Menu on the left, user information at the top, and a workspace window in the main section. You use the workspace window to complete most tasks.
Note: The User Administrator interface is designed to work with Internet Explorer 5.0 and higher and Netscape 6.2 and higher. Accessing this interface with other browsers might produce unpredictable results.
WEBppliance provides progress and status information about tasks it is performing or has completed. These messages are displayed in a status bar at the top of the workspace window. Information in the status bar includes:
Status. The state of the action: Successful, Failed, or Incomplete.
Result. A summary of what was changed, updated, or completed.
Details. A link to a brief description, analysis, or error message about the action. Click the link to view the information.
The User Administrator home page provides shortcut links to common tasks. To access a feature using the shortcut link, click the name of the feature you want.
To access the Main Help system, click HELP on the System Menu at left, or, when you are a viewing context-sensitive help topic, click View Help Contents.
