Viewing site logs
WEBppliance automatically generates Web and FTP logs for a site. The Site Reports form shows information from the Web and FTP logs in a graphical format.
Use the site reports for the following:
Checking the performance of the Web and FTP servers for efficiency and potential problems
Gauging and monitoring the traffic for a site
Billing customers based on bandwidth limits
The reports include cumulative network traffic statistics for a monitoring session of one month. Bandwidth usage reports are updated every 24 hours at 1.00 a.m..
Note: Bandwidth statistics may not be available for new sites for up to five minutes after the new sites are created. Also, you will not see statistics until there is traffic on the new site.
To view Web and FTP logs, follow these steps:
From the left navigation bar, click Sites.
In the Sites Manager menu, click Listings.
In the Site List
form, locate the site for which you want to view Web or FTP logs and in
the Actions column, click .
In the Site Reports menu, choose one of the following options.
Click Web Server to view Web server logs for the site
Click FTP Server to view FTP server logs for the site
Click Return To Sites to go back to the Site List form
Select the time frame for the statistics you want to view by clicking the options along the top of the form.
WEBppliance displays a breakdown of Web usage or FTP usage for the selected time frame.
